I posted recently about leaving a direct link in your comments on blogs, as well as storing that hard-to-remember code in Hey! Paste It.
I learned another cool thing that I wanted to share.
I thought perhaps a link that was in bold would really stand out...and I found out you can do this! All you have to do is add some fancy b's to the beginning and ending of your code (somewhere out there, an html expert is rolling their eyes at me!).
The code to make your link in bold is as follows:
I'm going to try it in the comment box below this post...and then go add this to the Hey! Paste it site :)

Trying it here:

Super cool! I must admit I've been trying this everywhere. I can't get it to work on FB or on Pro-teacher. It just comes out as code. I've stuck to using it when responding on blogs. It is super cool!!

Ok, quick question if you have a sec. How long does Hey! Paste it keep the code? I haven't been able to remember the code yet so I've been using hey paste it...and when I went to use it today it was gone.
ReplyDeleteThanks
I typed this and it works here but when I try to put it in Hey! Paste it, it's not working at all?
ReplyDeleteMrs. Hall’s Fabulous Firsts
Hey Jennifer, I'm really not sure how long the code is stored. I didn't have a problem with mine (though I will check right now). I think your direct link might be missing something, because I can't get back to your page. I will definitely let you know if I hear anything about Hey Paste It!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying the bold...thanks for letting me "play" here. Hey, it worked! Thanks! Second time's the charm!
