Love the tutorials. I watch them even though I know how to do what you are saying. :) I love Hey Pate it. I've been using it ever since you posted about it. LOVE IT!
Just in case you were wondering... I would love a tutorial on how to paste an automatic signature on your blog. I have read tutorials but not figured out WHERE in my blog HTML code to post the signature code yet.
Love your direct links!! I know a lot of you about this, but I've had some other people ask more about it so I thought I'd put it out there. :)
I would be happy to video about the signature, I'll put that on my list. Thanks for your ever-thoughtful comments Ms. M, you are the best! PS, did ya see we are on TBA together today?!
Yay! Thank you! Now... did I dream this (one of many blog dreams)Did I see someone post their blog button in a comment box? Do you or one of your SMART, SMART, SMART followers know about this?
Thanks so much for sharing with us! I have learned a few things from your technology tips and can't wait to find a few minutes to watch the video tutorials soon! I really enjoy reading your blog! :-) ~Michelle FirstGradeBest
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am new to blogging and I have been wondering how to make a direct link in my comments so I can get more readers!! Thanks again!
I started my blog as a project for one of my master's classes. I already had a website, but a blog seems so much more easier to maintain. I found your blog, then found a TON of other wonderful teacher's blogs! I can't wait to learn from everyone. Thank you for all you do! My blog is in the beginning stages, but hopefully the more I learn, the better and more detailed it will get. :-) Mrs. Boyer's Busy Bees
Thank you so much for your tutorial. I have tried doing it, but for some CRAZY reason when I paste my blog it shoes up with some saying about treasures??? I have no idea what I am doing wrong! I did learn a lot though!
WOnderful tutorials! Your blog is teaching me a lot about blogging AND teaching. Thank you. I also tried to the Hey Paste It and when I click on post online it comes back with Clip 0000 and when you click the direct url it is text about a pair of treasure craft ashtrays that will apparently look great in my mid-century modern living room! I even tried a Mozilla to see if it was Internet Explorer causing trouble. Do you have any other thoughts about this?
Hi Kristen, I have just gotten started setting up a blog and your tutorials have been so helpful. I am trying to use the HeyPasteIt to be able to leave a direct link in my comments. I have followed the tutorial but when I click to paste it online I don't get my code. The clip number is 0000 and in the code box is a sample message. Help please? Thanks Sally
Hey Sally, same thing has happened to me......I have tried and tried! I have watched the video so many times.....poor Kristen she is wonderful. I honestly thought I knew some about technology, but this has just got me! I decided to save mine on my desktop.....
Hi Kristen, Yeah, it's happening to me, too....the 0000 Clip. I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks VERY much for doing this though, Kristen. You're very generous with your time. Barbara Grade ONEderful
Oh, cool. I see that that your code worked for me :)) Now I just have to save it somewhere.
Hi Kristen- Thanks so much for teaching me how to add a link to my blog! You do a wonderful job teaching others and I cannot say enough great things about your blog. I've been a long-time lurker and just started officially following.
I have tried and tried to get the heypasteit.com site to work for me. It continues to give me a code of 0000. Maybe it is the name of my new blog, who knows....but I can manually type it in and it works. Thanks for all you do! Ann Marie ABCs and 123s 4 me
What a great resource you have here. I hope you'll visit my blog at www.popgoestheclassroom.com where we are using arts integration techniques to integrate pop culture into the classroom.
I was so excited to find this tutorial.... but after doing exactly what you said 15 times, the Hey Paste it is not working for me. It does not give me my code, it gives me an error message. Any idea why? I checked and triple checked the code and it is exactly what you said...
Hi there! I just started my blog and this was just perfect! Thank you to Heather's Heart for sending me to your blog! I can't wait to check your blog out some more for other tutorials! :)
So the video won't show up for me, but I had an idea and am trying it out. Hopefully this works because I had never thought to just do it with html before.
Thank you so much for posting this. I have tried numerous times before with other tutorials I have found and each time it has never worked for me. I have no clue what I was doing wrong. But this time it worked and I am thankful. :) Thanks a lot.
Hi Kristin, It's me again! I just tried to leave a link in a comment on another blog and I'm not sure what I did wrong. Yikes! The code came up in the comment rather than the name of my blog as a link. (Just like it did in Jennifer's comment above.)I cut and pasted the code directly into the comment box. Thanks so much for your help! Linda
You videos are the best!!! I am a brand new teacher blogger and my eyes are tired from watching your videos :) I would love for you to stop by my new blog!
Thank you! I've done a few trials on other blogs and it hasn't worked. After watching the video I tried it in my HTML Test Bed and it works so I'll hopefully be leaving you with a good link =)
