Hi everyone! Well, it seems I have become a weekend blogger and that was never something I intended to do! It's just been SO BUSY!!! We have 23 days of school left and a lot to get through--so I'm hoping to get on here more and share some items we'll be using in the remaining days.
Tonight, I'm sharing some graphic organizers I will be using in class this week. My students are plugging away at those state projects I mentioned last week and, since many of them have to complete a small biography on a famous person from their state, I made these graphic organizers to help them take notes...
There are seven pages of graphic organizers within this file and it can be downloaded for free from my Teacher's Notebook shop.
I know many of you are winding down your school year at this point, but I hope this is something you may be able to use in the future. Let me know if you can use it...I always love to hear this--it never gets old!

So...when is your last day of school? What will you do on your first day of summer vacation! Help me!! I need to live vicariously through your summer freedom!!! :)

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI notice that many of you finish early in June and wondered when you start back. Most of the teacher blogs are by American teachers and I would love to know more about the structure of your day and curriculum. I'm new to blogging and have been amazed at all the talented teachers out there! I'm never away from TpT and have taken so many interesting things back to my class, although I have to change spellings - lol!
My blog has three members (that includes me - hehe!), so it would be great if you would stop by and say hello. I was hoping to reach the heady heights of 5 members!

PS We finish at the end of June and start back at the beginning of September.
Love these!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristen:
ReplyDeleteThese "note cards" are wonderful! This kind of scaffolding is always what I wish I WOULD have had... looking back when the project is finished!
Now I can have this handy helper BEFORE we do the project. What a concept!
We're in until June 12th. I have so much to do with a Jog-A-Thon, volunteer breakfast, "Family Life," 6th grade activities, and promotion. Looking at this list, I am suddenly fearful that I have more activities than days of school...
I adore that little Labybug favicon. It is just SO CUTE.
And this is truly one of my happiest places to visit!

Finding JOY in 6th Grade
These note cards would have been awesome with my student's animal projects. I'll save a copy for next year.
ReplyDeleteWe're OUT in five days. It's been really tough not to shut down since my kids this year are really difficult to work with. We have 8th grade activities, awards ceremonies and Student of the Movie movie before our last day on Friday. Just hoping I get through without losing my mind! :)

ReplyDeleteWe have 17 days left, and I plan on sleeping in on my first day of vacation!! I don't want to do a thing!!
