I'm linking up with my very good friend Tara (from 4th Grade Frolics) for her awesome weekly linky party...Monday Made It.
And, while I realize it is actually Wednesday, I don't think she will mind if I'm a bit behind in linking up (is it ok Tara??? Please say it is!!).
You see, I have quickly fallen into my summer schedule, even though I've only been out of school for less than a week. Today I awoke with that delightful (and slightly frightening) sensation of what day is this anyways?!?! And that's what I just love about summer!
So, according to my summer schedule, today feels kind of Mondayish, so it counts, right??
(plus I just peeked at her wildly popular linky and saw that it closes in approximately 4d 9h 55m!!).
Ok, for my Monday Made It, I created some Daily 5 rotation signs for my students to use this year. We'll only actually be using three of them (Read to Self, Listen to Reading, and Work on Writing) and maybe Word Work...still thinking about that last one.
I made these in the style of the other flipped signs I've been working on for my room design (the black and white are flipped so the text pops). AND! I even made a bit of the clipart. NOT the fabulous little MP3 player or pencil, those are by Maree Truelove, of course!
But I did make the little books and notepaper...hence my Monday Made It!
The books have the numbers on them to designate how many readers (I'm sure you could figure this out, but just in case you are in a summer daze like myself)...
This six page file I'm sharing has these little guys in a few different sizes...so you can print off what you would like (for best quality, print on cardstock). I hope they can be used by some!
Are you losing track of days this summer? Do you find that relaxing or troubling?? If it feels Mondayish to you, and you haven't already, be sure to link up with Tara!!!

Those signs are amazing Kristen! You are so talented! Just wondering..what program do you use to design your products?

I love all of your products and just put up my new alphabet that I purchased from ya today. I was curious if you have daily 5 signs with white background and black text? That would go better on my board due to black cloth backgrounds. I would definitely be willing to purchase! :)
ReplyDeleteKristen-love the black to make the color pop! That is so my style. Just wish I had your talent for creating!!! I have modified the daily 5 to fit my style of teaching and I was wondering if you'd be willing to create a "research" circle, "project" circle and a "teacher circle. I would so be willing to purchase. Thank you for considering . . .
ReplyDeleteCori
Hi Cori and thanks! Unfortunately, I don't have the time to make those right now, though I wish I could because I do love to help out! Thanks for reading my blog :)
