Tessellation Project!! (free files & giveaway)

Hi everyone!! I am SO excited...we've been having blast in math class the past two days working on our Tessellation Angle Measures Challenge! It has so much fun and my students were completely invested in the project!

We've designed our own tessellation shapes using a combination of regular polygons, tessellated the shapes, and measured all the angles--without the use of a protractor! 

But with the aid of some reference sheets :)

My students were so excited to find all of the measures of their shapes and I was blown away by the various strategies they used to find each one.

The best part? 

They wrote up reflections on the strategies they used after the whole process. This was like gold to me...

We are just about finished our project, but I wanted to share a set of posters I made to tie in with the strategies used to find these angle measurements...
