We started back to school today and I had such a nice time seeing my students again and hearing their vacation stories!! We worked on our Currentlys today...Currently for your Classroom, that is, by the incredible Farley! My 5th graders LOVE doing this each month and I thought I should do the same this evening. :)
So...mine is pretty self-explanatory. 'Cause it's cold here. Like really cold...as in single digits today to the negative-whatever this evening (I honestly can't bear to look).
My OLW? Well, I'm constantly trying to work on a zillion things at once and it can become very stressful. So, I've been working on and will continue to work on prioritizing things...start with what's most important, since I should know by now...everything does get accomplished in the end!
Ok, off to check out the other Currentlys! What's the temp. like in your area tonight? I need to hear about some warmer weather!!

We're currently rockin' at 27˚F, which is warmer than what it has been! NYE was a cold, cold 9˚F! Stay warm!

ReplyDeletePrioritizing is something I struggle with daily! Good luck with that this year! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cold here in CT. We had bright blue skies today, but indoor recess because it was so cold--those poor kiddos were dying to go outside :( Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteIt was freezing today in the 20's. However, when there's snow on the ground, I don't mind the cold as much.

My word was balance.. very close to prioritize! As teachers, I think this is hard for everyone! We are pulled in so many directions. Hopefully, 2013 will bring balance and better prioritizing!!
ReplyDeleteI found this to do list organizer earlier in the year and it really helps me prioritize! :)

ReplyDeletePrioritize is a great word for the year. It is something that I am not sure I do very effectively sometimes. I get caught up in things (like blog reading or pinterest :)

It is cold in idaho, supposed to be twelve below tonight not factoring in wind. Prioritize is a great goal.

Prioritizing is definitely something I need to start doing too. It is just so hard when there are so many things that need to be done! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a little hot chocolate and warm up by the fire. Enjoy your week with the kiddos.

I laughed when I opened up your link--we chose the same OLW! Guess that means that deep, down in our hearts we are both trememdous over achievers who love to start new projects!! LOL!

I have that same OLW. I think mine is to make myself a priority and my marriage a priority.

If you find that energy to get ahead, pretty please send it my way! I am headed to school tomorrow to try and get ahead with some planning, but I am not too excited about. Luckily I do not have kiddos until the 7th though.
ReplyDeleteI am also loving your OLW. I need to work on that and make a list of must-dos for each day.

You poor baby-going back the day after New Years?! That's just not nice at all! Although it is nice to only have to be back for 3 days, then have the weekend to recoop.
ReplyDeleteWhen you find the secret trick for your want, please share. Don't you have a special code that we can input to give us the energy we need to get all of this done! ;)

Well we don't get very cold compared to the rest of Canada. I think it was about 3 today but that's Celsius so what's that? Maybe 35 F. I was shivering though:) good luck with your OLW!
